Pineapple Cherry Tart

Materials

* Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in: Light Caramel, Paper White, Buttercup Yellow, and Pillar Red

* Crochet hook size G and E

* Yarn Needle

* Stitch marker

Tart Crust

With Light Caramel and crochet hook G, form an adjustable ring, chain 1.

Round 1: 6 sc into magic ring (6)

Round 2: Inc in each stitch around (12)

Round 3: [Sc, Inc] 6 times (18)

Round 4: [2 sc,inc] 6 times (24)

Round 5: 1 sc, inc, [3 sc, inc] 4 times , 2 sc (30)

Round 6: In BLO, sc in each st around (30)

Rounds 7+8: Sc in each st around (30)

Sl st into first sc and then fasten off and weave in ends.

Tart Filling

With Pillar White and crochet hook G, form an adjustable ring, chain 1.

Round 1: 6 sc into magic ring (6)

Round 2: Inc in each stitch around (12)

Round 3: [Sc, Inc] 6 times (18)

Round 4: [2 sc,inc] 6 times (24)

Round 5: 1 sc, inc, [3 sc, inc] 4 times , 2 sc (30)

Round 6: Sc in each st around (30)

Round 7: 1 sc, inc, [3 sc, inc] 4 times, 2 sc (24)

Round 8: [2 sc, dec] (18)

Round 9: [sc, dec] (12)

Round 10: dec 6 times (6)

Fasten off. Thread the ending tail onto the needle, insert the needle thru the front loop of each stitch around the opening and pull tight to close hole. Weave in ends.

Pineapple Ring

With Buttercup Yellow and crochet hook G, make an adjustable ring, ch 1. 

*Note: Leave a 8 inch tail when making the ring so that it is big enough to fit all the double crochet stitches.

Round 1: 35 dc into mr

Invisible fasten off and weave in ends.

Cherry 

With Pillar Red and crochet hook E, make an adjustable ring, ch 1. Leave a starting tail about 6 inches.

Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6)

Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12)

Rounds 3+4: Sc 12.

Round 5: Inv dec around 6 times. (6 sts)

Fasten off and stuff cherry with the starting tail. Thread the ending tail onto the needle, insert the needle thru the front loop of each stitch around the opening and pull tight to close hole. Weave in ends.
